About the Fear Inventory

Fear is one of the most powerful forces in human behavior, and most of it operates below the surface. The Fear Inventory brings it into the open.

You start by naming your fears. Not the surface-level worries, but the deeper fears that drive your decisions without you realizing it. Fear of failure. Fear of being judged. Fear of success. Fear of being alone. Fear of losing control. Once you name them, you look at what each one is costing you and what one step you could take to face it.

The act of naming a fear does something to it. It becomes smaller and more specific. Instead of a vague sense of dread, it becomes something you can actually look at and decide what to do about.

This map is not a quick exercise. It is worth taking seriously. Many people find it useful to do with a coach or therapist who can help them work through what comes up.
